I’m participating in the online adventure travel and photography magazine LetsBeWild.com’s Wild Weekly Photo Challenge for bloggers. This week’s Challenge is: Unusual.
What a tough challenge! And so I’ve decided to pick a few photos where there may be more than meets the eye.
This first photo is very seasonal. If you’ve ever wondered what Rudolph the red nosed reindeer looks like when he lands on the roof, here’s your answer.

If you’re wondering what the photo below is, these are spider webs from grass spiders covered in raindrops.

Here’s the hooded lady with a walking stick in a tree trunk.

I love the hidden shapes or images in nature. Here’s a pretty obvious face in the rock.

Now here’s a less obvious face in the rocks. I see a man’s profile (looking left) in the rock. On his right, I see the profile of a dog’s head looking left too. Can you see it? Now, that’s unusual!

I think I see the dog but not the man or maybe the man looks like a dog. The spider web is so beautiful. I love the hidden things in nature too. Hope you have a happy new year!
I’ll help you with the man in the rocks. You can see the left side of his face (similar to the dog looking in the same direction), including a very large nose and eyebrow. If you see these two, you can figure out the rest of the face. Do you see it?
Happy new year to you too!
I see it now! That is a big nose! 🙂
My mom (who is French) compared it to Charles de Gaulle’s nose and she’s so right!
I’m still proud of myself for figuring out that last one. And I agree, your spider webs in rain drops definitely qualify as ‘unusual.’ Unique, too, I might add. 🙂
Thanks! Hopefully I’ll get more spider webs my son doesn’t crush and I can take more pictures, maybe get one good enough for the next calendar. Or a coaster, that would be fun too.
As long as it doesn’t come with real spiders…
Haha, trust me, you’ll never see a photo of a spider on any of my websites, even a dead one that I proudly killed.
