During our recent vacation, we tried to make friends with this little guy below, a white cottontail rabbit.

He enjoyed munching on the grass all around our cabin and didn’t seem too skittish every time I took pictures of him. First I tried hiding behind trees to take his picture.

After a few days, he didn’t seem to mind the picture taking so much. The best part was watching him chase around another cottontail rabbit. Or maybe it was when he got chased by a chubby gray squirrel. Unfortunately I don’t have photos of either, so this little guy alone will have to do. No wonder people have rabbits as pets, they’re very cute and fuzzy.

so cute! 🙂
Isn’t he?
They’re so cute…until they start eating all my flowers! That doesn’t make me happy.

Haha, I hear you! I have a squirrel problem at home. Rodents and lizards and many bugs are excellent at eating everything you try to grow.
He’s really gorgeous, and would make a great companion. 🙂
My kids loved to see this little guy visit us every day, that’s for sure.
Those are really cute! They love to hop around my backyard and taunt the dog so usually I only see them as they’re hopping away.
Oh, I bet your dog loves chasing them! I need a dog to chase the squirrels out of my garden!
A very adorable companion. As a kid, I’m always fascinated by them. They somehow reminds me of magical, happy times of the past and those we can make of the present. Best wishes to you and your family.
There’s something about small animals we find in nature, especially the furry ones, that make us happy for sure.
