Today I’m participating in Where’s My Backpack’s Travel Theme photo challenge. This week’s theme is “tilted”. Remember you can click on each photo for a larger view. If you like what you see, feel free to subscribe and receive nature photography updates a few times a week.
I took this photo of a monarch caterpillar last week in San Diego’s Balboa Park. I wish I could walk tilted up a tree like that.

How about this baby panda at the San Diego Zoo, who manages to hang on and take a nap on a tilted branch?

This orange dragonfly can stand still and a bit tilted while barely hanging on to a stick.

Finally, look at these two pine trees. One of them is slightly tilting and to touch the other, then tilting back the other way, as if the trees were kissing.

Really love that tree one. Great finds for tilted!
Thank you! I’ve never seen trees do that so I had to snap a picture of it.
Great selections! The two trees are majestic, the baby panda is too cute, and the This orange dragonfly is a stunning shot.
Thank you very much! Dragonflies are a challenge to photograph because they rarely stop flying, so it was my lucky day.
These pictures are mesmerizing! The orange dragonfly: I haven’t seen one like in this picture before. The sleeping baby panda so unreal and the trees are tilting very well indeed.
Thank you! We have quite a lot of orange dragonflies here if you hand around bodies of water.
Great pics! love the caterpillar! http://holley4734.wordpress.com/
