I featured some pink water lilies a few weeks ago and I was lucky enough to capture more of them on camera recently. The sunlight was very bright that day in comparison to my other photo session, so these pink water lilies look quite different in the end.

By the way, check out the green frog popping its head out of the water in this last picture (bottom right).

Beautiful. Makes me think of Monet’s art.
Thank you very much! As a French, I’m a big fan of Monet’s water lilies. I’ve been thinking of using some Photoshop filters for these water lily photos to turn them into photo paintings. I think they’d look very pretty.
Photo paintings sound great for water lilies, especially! Lovely to meet a French person and another Monet fan.
Impressionism definitely my favorite painting period and style.
Me too, I was just looking through a book this afternoon about the Impressionists and Leisure. I bought it for my late father who loved art and I now have it among lots of other art, and mainly Impressionist books. It’s an absolute beauty.
Gorgeous pics, Milka. 🙂
Thank you very much!
Stunning waterlilies! They’re gorgeous.
Thank you very much!
