If you enjoy my photos and would like to purchase some, I want to thank you! Simply visit my Zazzle online shop and browse the product offerings. If there’s a photo you would like to purchase but don’t see it in my shop, please contact me by using the Contact form at the bottom of my home page and let me know which photos you are interested in purchasing, and in what format / medium.
Today, I’m asking your feedback on photos I’d like to include in my 2014 calendar on bees and bugs. Just tell me which ones you’d really want to see, and which ones I should definitely keep or get rid of. I appreciate your honest feedback.
Remember that everyone who comments on one of my 2014 photo calendar related posts will be entered in a drawing to win one of my calendars (you can pick your favorite theme). The only requirement I have for the winner is to be located within the U.S., mostly because the calendar will contain U.S. holidays and it will be more helpful to that person. For every calendar post that you comment on, you will earn one drawing entry (one entry per blog post, not per comment). I’m planning to give away one calendar to a lucky winner, and possibly another one to the person who comes in second, depending on the number of participants.
You can click on any photo below to open the slideshow and view everything in a larger format. Please include your comments into the post comment section directly, not on individual photos, to make it easier for everyone to see your feedback. Thank you!
They look great Milka – the only one I’d vote against is the very first, because the yellow is so bright it dwarfs the ladybug. Otherwise lovely!!
Great, thank you very much for your feedback!
I love the green junebug!
I do too! I just need to frame it just right, not too close, not too far, for the calendar photo. Thank you very much for your feedback!
Pleasure 🙂
The orange dragonfly (the first one), the bee on the pear blossom, and any of the butterfly ones. Love them all! If I could only choose one butterfly pic, I’d go with the tiger swallowtail one.
Thank you! I definitely have room for a few butterflies in the calendar so I won’t have to pick just one.
Macro Monday: orange dragonfly taking off
Thank you very much for your input!
You’re welcome!
Have a great and inspiring day ahead, always~ Cheers!! 😀
Well, I am going to go out on a limb here and say #1 is my favorite. 🙂 I really like the strong colors!
I do too! This view is from under the leaf so the bright sunlight lit up the leaf and made it very yellow. I remember cropping that photo a lot so I’ll have to see what it looked like originally. I think it would be great for a fall month.
I agree, it would be a great choice for one of the fall months!
🙂
Travel theme wild orange, Bee on a wild rose, bee on the pear blossom, bee on pink flower, bee collecting nectar, Img 4449, Img 4445, See through the wings of a dragon fly and do a totally separate calendar for Butterfly pictures.
Thank you very much for your input! I wish I had enough pictures to do a butterfly only calendar. Maybe next year. Butterflies are so hard to photograph. Even when they stand somewhere, they move their wings a lot and they tend to end up blurry on the picture.
The were lovely and I have commentated under some of them. Please don’t include me in the draw.
Thank you very much for your feedback, I really appreciate you taking the time.
In the calendar I’d really want to see: #3, #6, #12, #17
