Here’s the horizon at Coronado Beach, hidden between the dune grasses.

I enjoyed taking this photo of pink grasses as they shoot across the horizon in the foreground.

Here’s the horizon on top of the mountains in Idyllwild, California. On that clear day, you could see up to 100 miles away.

How about this moon going up the horizon in the daylight?

I love the beauty of the horizon at sunrise.

And at sunset.

I love seeing the moon in daylight. Such a cool oxymoron.
It is, isn’t it? You never see the sun at night, do you? But the moon shows up a lot during the daylight.
Guess it likes the attention. A little moon narcissism.
It’s tough to have to compete with the sun as the “center of the universe”…
🙂
I love those fuzzy grasses. We used to call them tippy toes, but I don’t know what their real name is.

Well, you had me finally look it up. This variety is called Pennisetum setaceum ‘Fireworks’ (Variegated Purple Fountain Grass). Technically they are purple but up close and when the light shines right through them, they are pink.
I love the photo with the moon !
But all photos are great 😉
Thank you very much, I really like that photo too.
The photo of the moon is captured beautifully MIlka! The horizon at sunset is breathtaking. Gorgeous colors!
Thank you very much, I’m glad you liked my selections!
A beautiful sunset picture.
Thank you very much! It was on Christmas night last year and simply beautiful.
Lovely horizons Milka. The moon shot it wonderful, what lens did you use? It’s terrific!
I actually just used a point and shoot Canon camera with a 10x zoom. Pretty nice, huh?
