Today I’m taking part in Ese’s Weekly Shoot & Quote Challenge. This week’s theme is “buzz”. I encourage you to click on each photo to see a larger view. If you like what you see, please subscribe to this blog to receive updates of the new photos I post, usually 3 to 5 times a week.
Bees are the first thing I think about when I hear “buzz”. Enjoy my selection of busy bees, hard at work collecting nectar. Some of them are so good at collecting it, they store it in bags on their legs. I also love how bees get covered with pollen – nature’s most perfect pollinators.

Your photography blog is exactly what I need this cold, gray January. Reminds me that spring will indeed come, and I’ll see blooms and flowers again. In the meantime, I’ll soak up the sunny weather from your lovely photos. 🙂
Enjoy the bright colors all you can. Trust me, as much as I enjoy blue skies, I’d love to see rain here once in a while.
I really love the one on red! What a burst of color and energy!
Thank you, Juliana! I’m glad you like it.
I sure wish I had your patience with bees……..Excellent!
Thank you, Cee! You sure have to be patient because some bees tend to move around a lot and not stay in one flower. And you have to find the nice ones who let you get close enough. But they’re fun to photograph nonetheless.
