This landscape photography collection features wide, open views of the natural world, mountains, valleys, coastlines, and the quiet beauty of places I’ve traveled to and explored. Each photo aims to capture not just the scenery, but the feeling of standing there in that moment.
One of my favorite places in the U.S. for landscape photography has been Idyllwild, a mountain town with forests, hiking trails, and views that make me stop every few steps as Mother Nature draws me in. It is on the top of my list of my favorite places in the world for the sheer beauty of nature everywhere you look (and the amazing smells!), and I’ve come back with some of my most treasured shots from its trails and forest paths.

This gallery features a mix of landscapes, from ocean views and coastlines to mountains and forest trails. It includes both small and large bodies of water, along with quieter scenes from simple walks in the woods.
Where are these landscape photos taken?
Many of these landscape photos were taken in Southern California, from the ocean to the mountains. New landscape photos from Maryland, Virginia and other locations will be added as that collection grows.
